Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a practice method originating in Buddhist culture, which focuses on intentional and non-judgmental observation of the experiences of the present moment.

 

The method is based on the principle of "being here and now" and its main goal is to develop a conscious and non-judgmental mind towards the experiences of pain, feelings and thoughts that pass through the mind.

 

As part of mindfulness practice, the attention is concentrated for a limited time on only one thing, such as breathing, sensations in the body or external noises, and the practitioner engages in identifying and transferring feelings and thoughts in a neutral and non-judgmental way. This practice activates awareness of physical and emotional events that are not automatically aware of in everyday life, and allows the practitioner to treat them in a fixed and neutral manner, instead of succumbing to the noise of thought and emotional response.

 

The mindfulness method has been proven to be an effective method for reducing stress and improving concentration and emotional sensitivity. The practice makes available tools that can help the practitioner deal with feelings of stress, anxiety and fear, and alleviate situations of nervousness and negative emotions.

 

In addition, mindfulness can contribute to improving interpersonal communication, increasing the feeling of inner calm and peace, and promoting the level of patience and physical and mental quality.

Guided Imagination

In guided imagination we use imagination as a tool to improve the mental and physical state of the person. With the help of the method, one trains to activate the imagination in a focused and deliberate manner in order to create an effect on the central nervous system and to practice the brain's control over the body's actions.

 

The guided imagery method allows the therapy to touch deeper levels of consciousness and release deep emotional processes and memories from the subconscious. By using guided imagery, the patients are brought to a new and improved reality of their inner reality, and thus can work on cultivating positive coping and a different perception of their suffering.

 

Through this process, it is possible to achieve a great improvement in the levels of emotion, perception and general health and is even used to treat various chronic conditions, including headaches, spasticity, high blood pressure and anxiety.

Healing the inner child

"Healing the inner child" is a powerful therapeutic approach that allows us to return to our childhood and repair the emotional wounds we carry with us. This approach is based on the understanding that our childhood experiences have a profound effect on who we are today, both emotionally and behaviorally.

 

During the "healing the inner child" treatment, we meet our inner child, that small and vulnerable child who has experienced trauma, neglect or other emotional difficulties.
